Hey guys, welcome back to the Lemons!
Rhyan: I have something to tell you.
Why are you being so… weird?
Rhyan: Oh nothing, just caught a glimpse of our neighbors. Always out there with their torches in the woods. They’re a strange lot.
I’d say so.
Rhyan: Yes, I’m just calling to let you know I’m retiring.
Calling someone while I listen second hand is not telling me.
Rhyan: But you’re always listening, aren’t you. Little creep.
Because of all the moves I’ve put this generation through, it was impossible for Rhyan to complete her LTW. She’s the first heir to not complete their LTW since Gen 1 Isaac, and he died as a young adult due to a freak birthday cake fire.
Luckily, she redeemed herself with adopting Sheila.
I also updated the heir corner.
Alonso: FIREFIGHTER WIFE! HELP!
Rhyan: I’m retired.
Alonso: She thinks she’s so funny. I love her.
Rhyan: Heh, clown.
No wonder you were acting so reminiscent today.
Why is it always poor Melisa that discovers dead bodies?
Melisa: This guy again? Where’s Sheila.
Grim: The next time I’m here there better be tea.
Alonso: You guys, it smells great in here!
Rhyan: So Sheila, what did he say?
Sheila: …
Rhyan: I guess it would be a broken feature if it worked every time.
Rhyan: It’s been so long.
Grim: I found myself counting the hours until my return. No seriously, I could count the hours.
Rhyan: Listen Grimmy, due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to complete my Lifetime Wish. Because of this, I proposition you let me live to see my first grandchild. Then I can happily go.
Grim: Boop! Hehe, I love it when they beg.
Grim: Tata, remember the tea!
Melisa: Is there not someone we could call to complain?
He is quite unprofessional.
Hey buddy, your mom just bit the dust.
Diago: Oh man, bummer. Anyways, look at these plants!
Alonso: Now I have no one to fight before I fight the burglar.
Melisa: Well, you still have Diago. Speaking of, where the hell is he?
Our wonderful heir has no interest in his dead mother or mourning father. The worst thing to happen to him today is the rain.
Melisa: She almost got her last wish.
Yay! Generation 8 is on the horizon! I won’t tell her that Rhyan’s ‘last wish’ was really just a ploy to live longer.
Melisa: I have some exciting news.
Diago: How exciting? Good thing you caught me in the bathroom!
Melisa: I’m pregnant!
Diago: There’s so much to prepare!
The preparation you wanted to do for a baby is… the garden?
Diago: Behold, the greenhouse!
The garden is a hit! I guess we can just drop the baby out here.
Alonso took Melisa to the library to study baby books.
And eat apples?
Melisa: Very particular craving.
Back home Diago and Sheila were still celebrating the greenhouse.
Just kidding, Sheila aged into an elder puppy.
Still as adorable as ever.
Who said old dogs can’t learn new tricks?
Just a normal day for Melisa- wait, who’s that?
Why is the maid wearing that beekeeper’s hat?
Maid: You don’t know what I do in my spare time!
Pregnant Melisa is the first sim to use the backyard pool.
Melisa: Maybe we can ask the maid to use his beekeeper’s hat to clean the dog hair out of the pool.
Diago: What’s that? You’re going to be just like daddy?
Melisa: Only if we’re lucky!
Diago: Was that sarcasm?
Melisa: How could you tell?
The curled lip gave it away.
Later that night…
Melisa: DIAGO! BABY INCOMING!
Melisa: Where the hell is he?
*Screams in background*
Diago: What in the world are the neighbors up to at this time of the night?
Melisa: How long would you have left me screaming upstairs?
Diago: I thought it was the neighbors! They’re always making a ruckus.
Melisa: You know, we don’t have any close neighbors.
Diago: Must be the forest spirits then.
That’s good to know.
Welcome into the world, generation 8! The first born is Lilibet Lemons. I have to preface this by saying, the name is completely coincidental to the queen’s recent passing. These screenshots are from 2019, and at that time I was obsessed with The Crown, AKA the names from this generation are inspired from such.
Lilibet was born Good and Excitable. Her favorites are aqua, French, and crepes. Qui qui.
Diago: Did they already leave? I don’t want my newborn home with those demons in the woods!
I think Lilibet’s ready to join the demons in the woods.
Melisa: What did you do to her.
It’s supposed to be cute.
Melisa: Look at her hair! Just like mummy.
Melisa: She is pretty cute.
Grandpa agrees. I’m still a little unsure.
Diago: I’m sorry daddy didn’t get here in enough time to save you from the forest howlers.
Lilibet: Wah
I think she’s fine.
Diago: Why are her eyes so lifeless?
Poor design choices from EA.
Diago: She smells normal. By normal I mean, like baby poop.
Lilibet: Why you such a bitch?
Diago: Bath time!
Lilibet: MELTING! I’M MELTING!
Maybe the witches did get to her.
These two lovebirds are unphased by their child’s possible possession.
Wow, finally the 8th generation has been born! I’m really hoping to stay on track with writing these chapters, because I would love to get back into game and play. My hope is to complete the legacy before 2023… we will see. Thanks for reading!

I attempted to leave a comment a moment ago but I don’t know if it went through, I can’t see it on the page. Just came to fangirl over the Lemons for the first time in years, express my support and well-wishes and my hopes to see them return in the foreseeable future!

OMG! Thank you so much Fyrne!
I have a few Generations stored on my PC as soon as I can get to writing for them. Unfortunately, I upgraded my PC at the end of the year and now I’m unable to open TS3 😦 I still have all the Lemons saved and ready to boot up as soon as I can work out why it wont open! In game, Gen 9 is a young adult!
I’m so glad someone is still reading and enjoying the chapters 🙂

I can’t manage to like your comment, so we’ll see if this reply goes through… I’ll keep trying until it does. No worries at all about the game, we all go through those struggles haha. Very happy to see that you’re still around though, even if life or tech problems get in the way!
And of course – the Lemons will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ve been around since very early on, but you may not recognise/remember me (I did change my username recently). My username used to be Fibi/Fibijean, and my blog is the Hunter Legacy. Hopefully that rings a bell? (But I won’t be offended if it doesn’t.)

I definitely remember you! I need to do a reread of the Hunters so I can catch up 🙂 I’m so glad to see you are writing this year too! Welcome back!
