2.4 The Mistreatment of Spares

Hey guys, welcome back! Last time we left off discovering Tammi is pregnant with Gen 3. Well…we figured out. She still doesn’t know.

Jace: I’m pretty sure this is a very bad idea.

Oh hush. You’re skilled enough not to die… probably.

See, told you.

Tammi: A mysterious force has awoken me from my sleep.

Tammi: Oh, look at that. It’s a baby.

WE’RE MOVING ON FOLKS. Generation 3 is on the way!

That hair kinda makes her head look big doesn’t it?

Tammi: What do you think about babies?

Jace: I think my only reason for living is to fulfill my LTW.

Tammi: Well don’t worry, the rest of us will live for you. I’m pregnant!

Jace: WOWZA, does this mean I get to move out and start my own life?

LOL yea right.

Jace: Well then, good for you, I hate my life.

Meanwhile, Eli is oblivious to his pregnant girlfriend.

Eli: Why is the toilet broken? I HATE broken toilets.

Tammi: Ahhh, baby!

Tammi: Forget the stupid toilet, I have something to tell you.

Tammi: I’M PREGNANT!

Eli: …

Eli: VOICE IN THE SKY, HOW DARE YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THIS.

Tammi: What?

Eli: Nothing, nothing. Good job babe.

Jace: Yay I’m graduating.

Tammi: Yay I’m pregnant.

At graduation we saw this.

And I decided she deserved better.

Jace: One step closer to getting free of this spare trap!

This could have done with a better segue, but I don’t have one. The family moved to Lucky Palms. Obviously their old house doesn’t fit the scenery, so I spent four hours building a new one.

This is the *almost* finished product. A few things have changed, including the windows on the left side of the house which were CC but kept glitching and inverting.

First floor layout.

Second floor layout. Turned out pretty nice, if I say so myself. Of course I ran out of money furnishing it so it’s still in the works. Maybe next chapter it will be furnished enough for a complete walk through.

The first thing Eli did was go to the library to read about the inventing skill, since I couldn’t afford another sculptors thing yet.

Still not sure if this lady was attracted to him because of his stench, or his ghastly attributes.

Tammi went to the park to practice for tips.

And Nicole went to work out… for whatever reason.

Lady: Ew GHOST.

Eli: Oh SHUT UP.

Where are you going?

Tammi: Fishing.

I’m just going to say it, it seems like a really bad idea to send a heavily pregnant woman an hour away from a road to fish.

Did that stop me? No.

Did I know better? Yes.

Tammi: Holy cow, call a chopper! I’m gonna die out here!

Kinda dramatic for a sims game don’t you think?

Meanwhile…

Nicole: Excuse me, I’m trying to kiss my husband beside the road here.

Why are all the sims of Lucky Palms so evasive?

Man: Wow look at that, a woman in labor. Good memory.

Man: SHE’S WALKING SO SLOW, SHE’S GONNA HAVE THE BABY ON THE STREET OH GOD!

And then Eli comes floating along for the birth of his firstborn.

Welcome Niall Seng of Generation 3. Born good and rolled heavy sleeper. His favorites are R&B, Tri-tip Steak, and Irish Green.

Niall got the first fully furnished nursery of the legacy!

Nicole had it broken in before the new baby could even get through the door.

Here’s the second fully furnished room of the new house. It turned out really nice, in my opinion. Definitely one of my favorites.

And in this shot you can see the completely unfinished dining room.

I think Nicoletta likes her first grandkid.

Tammi: I know I’ve been living with you for more that a week now, but I’m going to decide to heart fart you right here at the kitchen bar.

Isaac: *chokes on food*

Eli: *obliviously eats his sandwich*

I knew you guys were messed up, but please make no move to do THAT. That’s just weird.

Oh, and don’t worry. I didn’t forget about our little lizard. Or our inlaws. All of the siblings were packed up as well. I didn’t bother bringing Tammi’s relatives since she barely knew them herself.

Speaking of relatives, here’s Kara! She’s still around. And.. what’s this? Working out without a skill bar??? Yes, Kara completed her LTW on the day of her adult birthday. Her entire young adult life was spent slaving away for legacy points.

Kara: Literally slaving away. Now please, let me go now. I’m ready go get out of here.

Eli: Is there anything to eat in this house?

Tammi: Honey, don’t look. She’s frightening.

Jace: Jesus Kara, mom never looked that bad.

Kara: This is what happens to the life of a spare with an easy LTW!

Much better. Sadly, the kitchen textures have still not loaded, but that’s okay.

Kara played one last game of chess before moving out on her own.

Tammi: Come on kid, can’t you enjoy a bath?

Maybe it’s because you left him in his swaddling clothes?

He seems to enjoy the swing just fine.

Eli: So, it’s been a while since you’ve been to work. Are you going to fulfill your LTW at this rate?

Good question Eli, and the answer is probably not. I’ve already decided that when Tammi gains all of the lifetime happiness points needed, she’s going to change two of her traits and her LTW to something easier.

Jace got a job at the hospital to help the family funds out. So at least her life isn’t going to be completely wasted like Kara’s.

Both Eli and Tammi had rolled the wish to get married.

So I complied.

Cute.

Eli: So does this mean we need to plan a wedding?

Wow, so I think this is a pretty good length for a chapter. I hope you guys like the house and my decorating! I’m really excited to see Niall as a toddler, and I hope you are too. I also got the points page worked out for Gen 1. I think I’ll add the points after each Gen like so. Anyways, thanks for reading!
